Mi Casa Mazatlan partner Silvia Casas is the second generation member of a family with a decades’-old history in Mazatlan real estate--a family that was instrumental in the founding of AMPI, the Mexican professional association of Realtors. Having worked in local real estate since she was a teenager alongside her father, Silvia has a vast network of contacts and impressive credentials.

A lifelong resident of Mazatlan, Silvia brings an incomparable depth of experience, community connections and expertise to our operation. Whether tracking titles, translating contracts, negotiating deals or researching real estate issues, Silvia is an invaluable resource to Mi Casa clients. Silvia is a graduate of the Centro Universitario de Mazatlan and is fully Spanish/English bilingual.

Jim Hopkins
Since becoming a full-time resident of Mazatlan three years ago, Jim has been active in the buying, renovating and reselling of property. A firm believer in the growth opportunities afforded by real estate, he enjoys introducing clients to Mazatlan’s great lifestyle and strong property return on investment. His fluency in Spanish is especially advantageous in facilitating negotiations and transactions for our buyers and sellers.

Before joining our real estate team, Jim was the owner and Sales Director of a Chicago-based marketing communications / media production firm, serving Fortune 500 accounts for over 25 years. Jim holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from Indiana University. He is an Associate Member of AMPI.
